Active Ingredient

Each 1 g of gel contains:

• Diclofenac diethylamine 11.6 mg, equivalent to 10 mg diclofenac sodium.

Other ingredients include carbomer 5984, diethanolamine, macrogol cetostearyl ether 20, cocoyl caprylocaprate, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, light liquid paraffin, fragrance and purified water.

How Ziaja Dicloziaja Gel Works

Diclofenac reduces the production of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation. Applied to the skin, the gel provides local analgesic and anti inflammatory effects. The water alcohol gel base can also provide a cooling and soothing sensation.

Directions for Use

• For adults and adolescents over 14 years.
• Apply a thin layer of gel to the painful area.
• Use approximately 2–4 g of gel, corresponding to about 3–5 cm of gel, per application.
• Gently rub into the skin 3–4 times daily.
• Wash hands after application unless the hands are the treated area.
• Do not use for longer than 14 days without medical advice for traumatic inflammation and soft tissue rheumatic conditions.
• If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or become worse, consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Do not use Dicloziaja if:

• you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the ingredients;
• aspirin or other NSAIDs have previously caused asthma attacks, hives or acute rhinitis;
• you are under 14 years of age;
• you are in the last three months of pregnancy.

Do not apply the gel to damaged skin or open wounds, mucous membranes or near the eyes.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a history of asthma, allergic reactions to NSAIDs, stomach or intestinal problems, kidney or liver disease, or if you take other medicines regularly.
