Action
It increases blood flow to your penis when you are sexually aroused by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penis.

Dosage
Adult men: The recommended dose is 50 mg if you have previously taken medications containing 50 mg or more of sildenafil. After consultation, your doctor may recommend a different dosing method. Otherwise, Maxon Forte at a dose of 50 mg should be used only if the patient does not feel the desired effect after taking sildenafil at a dose of 25 mg.
The tablet should be taken about an hour before planned sexual activity, swallowed whole with a glass of water.
The time it takes for Maxon Forte to work varies from person to person, but it usually takes between half an hour and one hour.
If this medicine is taken after a large meal, it may take longer.
If you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak, does not result in an erection after taking it, or if the erection does not last long enough for sexual intercourse, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Maxon Forte will help you achieve an erection only when you are sexually aroused.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any other ingredient of this medicine.
If the patient takes:
nitrates, since their simultaneous use can lead to a dangerous decrease in blood pressure;
drugs that release nitric oxide (such as amyl nitrite poppers), as taking them together can also cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure;
Riociguat. This is a medication used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (i.e., high blood pressure in the lungs) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (i.e., high pressure in the lungs caused by blood clots). PDE5 inhibitors such as Maxon Forte have been shown to enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of this drug. If you are taking riociguat or are unsure, tell your doctor.
Severe heart or liver disease.
Low blood pressure, recent heart attack or stroke.
Hereditary degenerative changes of the retina, such as retinitis pigmentosa.
Loss of structure ever found as a result of non-arterial anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.

Storage
Keep the drug out of the reach of children.
There are no special instructions for storing the drug.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date stated on the blister and carton after EXP:. The expiration date refers to the last day of that month.
